Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrated as the 'Iron Man of India', played an immense role in unifying the nation. Unity was a cornerstone of the independence India enjoys today. To honor his monumental efforts, India's Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world's tallest monument, the Statue of Unity. This colossal structure is crafted from used iron tools donated by farmers across the country, collected since 2010. Visiting this marvel, now counted among the wonders of the world, was an absolute thrill.

Having seen both the Statue of Liberty and the Burj Khalifa, my expectations were naturally high. Yet, the Statue of Unity surpassed my wildest dreams. The blend of security, innovation, technology, and management at the site sets a standard as lofty as the statue itself.

The highlight of my visit was the evening laser show. Picture thousands gathered, watching a laser display projected directly onto the monument, accompanied by a narrative that sent shivers down my spine.

The area, now known as Ekta Nagar, hosts an array of attractions beyond the statue itself. These include Ekta Nursery, Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, Nauka Vihar, Jungle Safari, River Rafting, Narmada Dam, Children Nutrition Park, Dino Trail, and Khalwani Eco-Tourism Campsite, among others.

Reflecting on India's journey towards transformation, if I could sum up my experience at the Statue of Unity in one word, it would undoubtedly be 'Pride!'
